Microsoft Bing - Search Engine

Microsoft's latest search Engine Bing is the all-new search engine among the Internet users. The Kumo was the one renamed by Microsoft as Bing.

The Bing gives the search results slower than the Google but the comments/snippet which is called Quick preview about a website is a new innovation. But the feature has not been implemented properly and not very useful.

The search results were not more absolute, when we search for verbs, the best site giving the actual meaning could be given first, but Bing fails to do where Google succeeds.

This makes the Bing's success a little bit doubtful. But the second position next to Google is for the Bing.

it also gives value adds in look and feel, new images, quick preview which provides a new standards for a search engine.

Adobe -Creative tools in Negative Pace

The World's Favorite revolutionary software creators are now in a stake with the creative products which failed to hit the hearts of the users similar to its predecessors which has negatively affected the profits of the company as bad as 41%.

Adobe Creative Suite 4 sales was not as expected and was 20% lesser than its previous version Creative suite 3 which is the reason for the major fall in revenue and profits.

Even when the profits loosened still the traders are bullish making the stock value of the Adobe to grow more stronger.

The Adobe reported:

1. Profits: $126.1million ($214.9 million previously)
2. Revenue: $704.7 million
3. Operating margin: 22.9% (previous 29.3%)

This were the values(may be approx.) from Q2 results.

Adobe is very confident in increasing its revenue by the Q3 and it is very active in reaching their goal.

General Motors-Chrysler for Merger

The General Motors (GM) and Chrysler are expected to the max for the merger. The Bankruptcy case were already on the GM and Chrysler, which shows the GM's motivation on money.

The General Motors feels that the Chrysler as the better potential to gain back its older position.

Also Chrysler feels the same about the GM.

If the merger was complete, the GM-Chrysler will become the world's biggest automobile manufacturer with more than twice the size of Toyota.

The Merger might have been already taken but it was much delayed after the Chrysler filed for Bankruptcy on April 30th followed by GM on June 1st.

Nokia has launched the new touch screen enabled music mobile phone. along withe the mobile phone the nokia has also launched the two new mobile phones.

The Touch screen model was 5530 successor of 5300Xpress music.

The other two models are E72 and 3710 Fold,E72 is the successors of E71.

The price ranges are also very low such that it attracts more mobile phone enthusiasts to buy this mobile phone.

The 5530 seems to be priced at $280. The E72 was priced at $350 and the 3710 fold was priced at $215.

All the three mobiles will start rocking by the end of September,2009 in US.

Unwanted EU interruption on Windows 7

Since Microsoft has announced that it will not bundle IE7 with its new Windows 7, expectation grew for the IE8 to be bundled with IE7.

All of a sudden the EU interrupted in the process and ruled the Microsoft not to bundle the Browser with the OS and the browser can be bundled with the OS on request.

But it raised a big question among the tech users about this issue.

When the Windows 7 was not bundled with any browser, think of how people will go online and search for their favorite browser and install it?

It is very stupid according to MS users about this new orders placed by EU on Microsoft. Already EU has fined a huge amount on Intel for illegal marketing. So Microsoft is acting very innocent and agreed the order.

Even when the Fire Fox, Chrome, Safari rises IE will always has its position as a native browser of Windows OS. No body can claim it.

The Topper in the US Box office for this weekend was the Movie "The Hangover". With Weekend total revenue of $44,979,319 stands the first in this weekend.

The Star Trek holds the first position in the Total Gross revenue with a massive $222,712,175.

the Highest per-Screen average is also gained by "the Hangover" with $13,759 in 3,269 screens.

"The Hangover" movie is a full time comedy movie and it is not a new thing that a comedy movie catches the first position in the US Box Office.

The script of the movie was just awesome and the director narrates the story more interesting and with a blend non-stop humor. The movie is itself on a Humor race it is worthy to watch the movie so as to forget our self in this busy world.

If i was given a chance to rate this Movie, my ratings would be 8.5/10.

General Motors - To File up for Bankruptcy

The World famous General Motors has now faced the worst part of it.

It seems that GM management is now ready to file for Bankruptcy. The 100 year tradition of American automobile industry has now came into trouble.

Reuters say about this issue:

Since the start of the year, GM has been kept alive with U.S. government funding as a White House-appointed task force vetted plans for a sweeping reorganization that will be
undertaken with $50 billion in government financing.

By preparing to take a 60 percent stake in a reorganized GM, the Obama administration is gambling that the automaker can compete with the likes of Toyota Motor Corp after its debt is
cut by half and its labor costs are slashed under a new contract with the United Auto Workers union.

The governments of Canada and the province of Ontario agreed to provide another $9.5 billion to GM in a late addition to the plans for the bankruptcy that have been taking shape for
weeks, U.S. officials said.

GM plans to close 11 U.S. facilities and idle another three plants. It has not provided an updated target for job cuts but had been looking to cut 21,000 factory jobs from the 54,000 UAW
workers it now employs in the United States.

The UAW would have a 17.5 percent stake in the "new GM." The Canadian government would own 12 percent stake and GM bondholders would get 10 percent.

Lets expect a better tomorrow for the General Motors and what the US govt. going to do for the GM?

ICICI Pinches - IDBI Slashes: Deposit Rates

ICICI and IDBI has changed theirinterest rates recently.

ICICI had reduced the FD's interest rate for up to 90 days and 90-180 days as 4.5% and 5.5% respectively and for 270 days it has been increased to 7%.


IDBI also reduced its interest rates for the FD below 1100days from 8.75% to 7.75%

Hope it could allow people to invest in market rather than these simple figures of interest.

IPL 2009: Delhi Dare Devils won by 12 runs

In today's match Delhi Dare Devils won Deccan chargers by 12 runs.

It was a great struggle between the current leaders and the Deccan chargers who were in the third position.

Actually Deccan chargers was in a strong position towards victory until Symonds left the ground. Once he left DC were in a crucial situation and wickets fell down gradually.

Finally, Delhi Dare Devils conquered their First position more firmly.

Today the election was completed in the Tamil Nadu state.

Two major parties DMK and ADMK was the major rivalries this time also.

DMK was supporting congress and ADMK was supporting BJP.

Intel fined 1.06 billion Euros

Intel corp. was fined with an record Anti-trust fine amount of $1.45 billion for the illegal rebates and other practices that were used by the company to squeeze its rival AMD.

The EU Executive said that Intel has paid money to the computer makers to postpone or cancel plans to launch products that used AMD chips.

The Order has been passed to Intel to stop its illegal activity.

Intel disagreed to this issue and has taken steps to appeal further on this fine.

Any how the AMD will not be benefited to the max by this action, since there are many issues within AMD. IT was a week ago when AMD(Advanced Micro Devices) Microprocessor and Graphics chip businesses were merged.

Also the Barcelona chip was delayed due to an technical defect in it.

So these issues make AMD still more struggling and the new innovations cannot be expected from AMD as it is in lack of resources.

Apple i-Pod Shuffle: 3rd Generation

Apple has introduced its revolutionary i-pod Shuffle (3rd generation) at the size of our thumb. It remembers us a thumb drive whose size is less than a AA size battery in appearance.

Apple has again innovated many things in this new Shuffle. The main feature is the "Voice Over", it supports around 14 Languages and we can hear the song name, composer name in the language's own slang. Cool Hun!!!

Also we can have the Voice over support for the play list name and the details of it.

The next feature is its size. Very very compact, such that only one button is on the player and remaining buttons are moved to the Headphones. The player button can be used to turn on and off the system.

Population of Unemployed hits 8.9% in US

With the World's recession US stands as the top most affected country. The country is helpless in its job market. In April month alone 5,39,000 jobs were lost.

The April month result of 5.3Lacs is much less compared to its previous month results as shown in the figure.

The Jobs loss were 6.51Lacs in January month end, In February month end it was 6.63Lacs and in March end it reached 6.99Lacs.

It is expected that still more jobs will be lost before the economy over comes recession which is expected in the earlier 2010.

The America is surely going to head more than 10% unemployment if the situation prevails.

Lets pray for America to Overcome this bad time and be the best again to its old position.

Toyota: Facing Critical Situation

Toyota Motor Corp.(Japan) posted that its revenue has been reduced to 21.9% in revenue. The reason explained was the significant decline in vehicle sales and strength in Japanese Yen.

In the recent months Japanese Yen had a rapid appreciation against the U.S Dollar and the Euro. Also the increase in price of raw materials joined to it which mad the Toyota to face a wider loss than it expected.

Toyota posted a loss of 447 billion yen in the Fiscal year ended Mar 31st, compared to its previous record of 1.72 trillion yen profit and a net revenue of 26.29 trillion yen.

As a result the Value of Toyota's stock have also come down.

It is expected that there will be more loss to the Corp. by the next quarter also.

Every thing was fine up to 07th May, for the Indian Stock Markets. But 8th May would be an difficult day to see gains in the Market.

Also the Inflation was measured at 0.57% with was previously 7% (As of April 25,2009).

Hope today will be a worse day for Indian Stock Markets. lets hope for the Best from our Indian Stock Market.

Expecting for the best from the Indian Metal sector, and i dont believe that Banking sector will shine.
