Bajaj - Leading motor cycle manufacturers in India. It is a Maharashtra based motor cycle company, where its factory is located in Akurdi, Pune. I am very much impressed about the Bikes that has been produced by the Bajaj Auto Limited. The thing which i wonder is they borrowed knowledge from Kawasaki Motors, Japanese company, but now they out perform to a standard where they became the world leaders of Twin Spark Engines.
Starting from Bajaj Scooters to Bajaj Pulsar they have survived India with continuous innovation and quality maintenance. When the whole India went back towards 4-stroke engine from Hero Honda all Bike manufacturing companies started producing rivalries for it. But every one were unsuccessful. Even Bajaj was unsuccessful because they concentrated on mileage but not on Design of the bike. Their partially successful Bajaj Caliber, Bajaj AT, Bajaj CT occupied only 10% of Bike Markets in India.
The Turning point in the Bajaj Auto Ltd. beginned when Bajaj introduced its first sports Bike. Bajaj Pulsar in two segments 150cc and 180 cc with a stunning quote "Definitely Male" which inspired most of the Indian youths to look towards Bajaj. Bajaj didn't stop they transformed their successful Caliber design with CT's fuel efficient engine and came up with CT100 which was the next hit in bike industry. Bajaj started growing as a Master of Bike Manufacturing in India.
At present Bajaj holds 55% of Bike Industry with its Latest Bike names : Platina, XCD, Discover, avenger and Pulsar.
