Internet World's one of the most famous GeoCities has stepped into its 15th year recently. but Yahoo says that it will shutdown GeoCities server very soon because of its drowning familiarity.
GeoCities was started in 1994. It became very famous because it was one of the best social website that allowed people to express about themselves. GeoCities was giving its service freely.
In 1999, Yahoo acquired GeoCities and it became newly Branded.
Because of lack of Familiarity and more user-friendly competitors over took the users of GeoCities and that is why Yahoo has decided to shutdown GeoCities Server.
All Old Internet Users has to take immediate decision to make not to shutdown the Great Old Server.
No one can forget GeoCities (Even though it has horrible content)
